Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Revodo uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).

01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners.

Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). They may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services ("third-party cookies").

02

How Revodo Uses Cookies

We use cookies to ensure our website functions correctly, to keep it secure, and — only with your explicit consent — to understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it. We do not sell personal information and do not use cookies to create advertising profiles without your consent.

Under UK GDPR and PECR, we are required to obtain your consent before placing any cookies on your device that are not strictly necessary. You can grant, refuse or withdraw that consent at any time by clicking in the footer of any page.

03

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core features such as form submissions and security protections. No consent is required for essential cookies under PECR.

Analytics Cookies

With your permission, we use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use Revodo. This helps us identify which pages are most useful, where visitors drop off, and how we can improve the experience. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised — it cannot be used to identify you personally.

If you consent to analytics cookies, we may use tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GA4 uses Google Consent Mode v2: if you decline analytics cookies, GA4 will operate in "cookieless" mode using only aggregated, non-identifying signals.

Marketing Cookies

Marketing cookies are not currently active on the Revodo website. If we introduce marketing technologies in the future, this policy will be updated before any such cookies are activated. Any future marketing cookies will require your explicit consent before they are placed on your device.

Technologies we may introduce in future include Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Microsoft Clarity. If you have not consented to marketing cookies, none of these tools will be activated.

Microsoft Clarity may collect anonymised interaction information such as clicks, scrolling behaviour and page engagement to help improve user experience.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling all cookies through your browser may prevent some parts of the website from working correctly.

  • Google Chrome: Settings › Privacy and Security › Cookies and other site data
  • Apple Safari: Settings › Safari › Privacy Report & Advanced › Block All Cookies
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions

You can update your cookie choices at any time by clicking the link in the website footer. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing already carried out on the basis of that consent.

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) provides guidance on cookies and privacy rights at ico.org.uk.
