Drivvo is not only a fuel log. It also handles servicing, reminders and documents. This guide looks at that overlap and where Revodo’s UK history and identity features may matter more.

THE SHORT ANSWER
Consider Drivvo if your priority is fuel, income, routes and detailed running-cost reporting. Consider Revodo if your priority is UK vehicle history and the evidence behind it, with a straightforward view of recorded maintenance costs by month or year. Some drivers may need both kinds of record. We have not established that either app replaces every workflow in the other.
WHERE DRIVVO FITS
Drivvo’s official site describes fuel, expenses, income, services, routes and reminders, with personal and fleet offerings. This makes it relevant to drivers who want to monitor running costs or work-related vehicle income. Its web and mobile access also means desktop use is not a Revodo-only advantage. Compare the reports you actually need rather than assuming that a broader ownership record gives the same cost analysis.
SHARED GROUND
Drivvo’s FAQ confirms document attachments and a process for transferring vehicle data to a buyer, with a choice of records. Revodo also stores supporting evidence and supports ownership transfer. It would be misleading to mark documents or handover as exclusive to Revodo. What to test is which files transfer, what stays private and how the receiving owner accesses the record.
WHERE REVODO FITS
Revodo connects DVSA MOT records with your service and repair evidence, reminders and ownership information. It also totals the maintenance-related costs recorded in that history by month or year. Klaus provides informational assistance, while Revodo ID supports a vehicle identity and consent-led access to evidence. We did not confirm equivalent direct DVSA import or an equivalent vehicle-identity workflow in the Drivvo sources checked. Those are unverified areas, not claims that Drivvo cannot offer them.
LIMITS AND COSTS
Both apps offer free and paid options, with capabilities depending on the plan. Check device access, attachment limits, vehicle allowances and sharing on the exact tier you would buy. Revodo can total recorded maintenance-related costs by month or year, but this is not a replacement for Drivvo’s fuel, income, route or fleet-reporting tools. Revodo’s PDF history export is planned, not part of v1.1, and Garage Workspaces are planned for v1.2.
BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Try a repair invoice and a reminder in each product. In Revodo, check how the recorded cost appears in the monthly or yearly vehicle-history total. If you drive for work, test a fuel purchase and review how income and costs appear in Drivvo’s reports. Before migrating, keep originals and verify what you can export, share and pass to another owner.
