GarageHub is more than a maintenance tracker. Both apps connect records, reminders and AI assistance. The useful question is which approach fits the way you own your vehicle.

THE SHORT ANSWER
Consider Revodo when UK MOT history, supporting documents and Revodo ID are central to the record you want to build. Consider GarageHub when build projects, parts planning and fuel or running-cost logs are a bigger part of your routine. This is an editorial judgement about fit, not a claim that one app wins every category.
SHARED GROUND
GarageHub advertises its Rev AI assistant, receipt scanning, CSV imports and maintenance reminders. Revodo offers Klaus, camera and file imports, and email and CSV import features in v1.1. Simply having AI or scanning is not a reason to choose one over the other. Try a real receipt and check the extracted date, mileage, work and cost yourself. Neither assistant should replace a qualified mechanic’s judgement.
WHERE GARAGEHUB FITS
GarageHub’s public feature descriptions cover build plans, project diaries, parts and upgrades, fuel tracking and shareable vehicle pages. That makes it worth investigating if documenting a build is as important as keeping service evidence. Its website also advertises PDF, CSV and JSON exports on Premium. If taking a readable report or machine-readable copy away is essential, test those exports before committing.
WHERE REVODO FITS
Revodo brings DVSA MOT history together with service and repair records, receipts, documents and ownership information. Revodo ID adds a vehicle identity and consent-led evidence sharing. Its ownership-transfer workflow is designed to carry transferable history to the next owner. We did not confirm a direct UK DVSA MOT import in the GarageHub sources checked; that is an unknown, not proof the feature is absent.
LIMITS AND COSTS
Both products have free and paid offerings. Vehicle, storage, import and AI allowances matter more than a headline price, so check the current plan on your platform. Revodo’s PDF history export is planned, not available in v1.1; Garage Workspaces are planned for v1.2. Do not choose Revodo today for those future capabilities. GarageHub’s export offering is a meaningful distinction if an offline history report is required now.
BEFORE YOU MOVE
Keep your original files. Add a service invoice, set a reminder and check how each app handles a correction. Then inspect sharing permissions and export options. A workflow that is easy to maintain every month is more valuable than a long feature list you rarely use.
